CPD Board has partnered with The Bar Association (www.barassociation.ie) to bring their conferences and seminars to the attention of all legal practitioners, and other professionals whose governing bodies oblige them to undertake continuing professional development annually.

The 2024 CPD cycle runs from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 and there is no carry over of hours from one cycle to the next.

They provide for the completion of a minimum of 25 hours CPD for 2024, of which Solicitors (to whom the Regulations apply) must ensure include a minimum of:

(a) 5 hours Professional Development and Solicitor Wellbeing CPD

AND either:

(b) 3 Hours Client Care and Professional Standards CPD if you are not a sole practitioner or a compliance partner and/or an anti-money laundering compliance partner

OR

(c) 3 Hours Client Care and Professional Standards CPD, of which 1 hour must be accounting and anti-money laundering compliance if you (including senior practitioners) are a sole practitioner or a compliance partner and/or an anti-money laundering compliance partner.
