‘Techniques To Alleviate or Ameliorate Work Pressures and/or Stresses’
Ber Mulcahy’s motto is “People are our greatest asset, they appreciate with investment”. In the workplace, and particularly frontline professionals, she believes that Mindfulness has a lot to offer both for our personal and professional lives in the area of stress reduction and building resilience to avoid vocational fatigue and burnout.
As annually advocated by Prof. Jim Lucey at our events, Mindfulness helps to focus our attention, to observe our thoughts and feelings without judgment, allowing the individual to have greater resilience and increasing life satisfaction.
Mindfulness is not just a collection of skills we use when in need. With practice and patience mindfulness become a way of life. A way of life where attitudes of the head are balanced by attitudes of the heart. A way of life which allows for health, wellbeing and happiness both in our personal and professional lives.
In this webinar Ber Mulcahy presents both the theory and practice of mindfulness – focusing on some of the attitudes of mindfulness to highlight its moment by moment value in our lives. Completing her presentation she focuses on building resilience through mindfulness which is a day-by-day survival skill and suggests the simple practical ways of building resilience.
