‘A General Overview’

A Barrister, a Solicitor and an Accountant co-present this very useful summary overview of the largest single piece of legislation in the State to date. Caroline Gill BL, Mark Regan of Regan Solicitors, and Alison Gray of BCK Accountants scan the 1400 or more sections and highlight the most significant reforms to the existing law, and the radical changes this Act brings to company law in Ireland by simplifying and consolidating the existing 16 Companies Acts. The provisions of the Act consolidate the law relating to Irish companies, which currently encompasses more than 30 enactments, and introduces significant reforms in a number of areas. The Act provides a modern, comprehensible company law code for the users of Irish company law.
