Brian Horgan

Brian Horgan has been a trade union activist for many years. He has served two terms as a vice-president of the IMPACT trade union, the largest public trade union and is currently a Trustee of that union.

Brian has spent more than thirty years working in the human services industry. He is currently a Senior Probation Officer, and is reponsible the Probation Service’s programmes for serious high risk offenders in the greater Dublin area.

He has been Director of an organisation for victims of domestic violence, and has also worked in the Health Service. He has a special interest in Restorative Justice, and has a Master of Social Science degree from University College Dublin.
