Gerard Keane has over 25 years’ experience in the pensions industry, is managing director of both Newcourt Pensioneer Trustees Ltd and Newcourt Retirement Fund Managers Ltd since 2003 and 2007 respectively. He is a director of The Association of Pension Trustees in Ireland (APTI) and was elected Chairman for the period July 2010 to July 2012, having previously held the position of Treasurer for the Association. As a current director of APTI Gerard is actively engaged with legislative submissions/changes relating to all areas of pensions law and regulation, and has regular contact with the Central Bank, Pensions Authority and Revenue Commissioners through APTI. He is a Revenue approved Pensioneer Trustee and a Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA).
